Model: 9mm Balsa Filters
Number in Pack: 15 Filters
Material: Balsa Wood
If you use balsa filters you can't go wrong with these...
I prefer to smoke with moisture absorption filters and these work great!
Moisture control magic. Inserted correctly they don't impact draw.
I prefer these to the paper (charcoal) filters as the absorb more juices and you can reuse them a time or two.
These are wonderful, a little expensive but they last longer then the paper filters however they are also able to be cleaned and dried after 4 to 5 uses... I don't know yet how many times they can be cleaned and reused but I'll find out soon enough...
Although I prefer no filters, I find the balsa wood filters do not interfere with the smoking quality of the pipe or the tobacco.
I’m a little bit of a wet smoker. The balsa filters do a great job of controlling moisture without impeding smoke. In my opinion they work far better than charcoal filters which seem to affect the draw. The balsa filters don’t seem to have any negative effects on flavor. I clean the filter and let it dry overnight and get about 3 bowls of tobacco before I toss it. Pipe: Savinelli Tundra 624 - 9mm Tobaccos: Escudo, Sun Bear Black Locust
Enjoy you favorite tobacco without all of the junk! :)
Very good for helping tobacco bite less. :)
