It seems odd that the large bowl of the 122 bent pot pipe is paired with a very thin shank and saddle bit stem. However, this juxtaposition of size is a crucial asset to this Savinelli pipe. Seen here in the Roma collection, this pipe has been given the black vulcanite stem, but is also available in the amber colored lucite stem model.

My first Savinelli I ever bought and I was not disappointed. Very nice and beautiful pipe. And, I was very grateful for Tobaccopipes.com’s speedy service.
Very good pipe, easy to handle, very enjoyable to smoke out of it.
I really love it.
This is such a wonderful pipe. Savinelli always makes great pipes and this one is a home run. The value of the Roma series can't be beat. I love how the balsa filters keep things dry and cool. The pipe has a larger bowl than I expected but the thick walls keep things cool with a long smoke. This pipe even with the large bowl is easy to clinch and not to heavy, I think the stem has a lot to do with that. As always Tobaccopipes.com customer service was awesome with the purchase of this pipe and I recommend both to anyone looking for a great experience.
