The 620 is Savinelli's interpretation of an Oom Paul. In this case, they have taken the opportunity and etched away some of the unnecessary briar, giving it a much lighter weight. With the addition of the saddle bit vulcanite stem, this pipe becomes incredibly easy to clench. With the deep bend and rustic finish, this Roma series is an eye popper; but more importantly, is a proper smoking instrument.

Began breaking in with some Black Mountain, which is mostly Cavendish. Later some Navy flake that is straight Virginia. I mostly own straight or bent billiard, so I expected this to be a little wetter. Surprised this far that it stayed dry for both smoke. I never smoke to the bottom. If you do you may have a different experience. But, I was dry the whole time. Easy draw. Very light for hands-free. Also, as usual, I received the pipe very quickly. Unmatched customer service in my opinion.
Came super fast, this is a nice pipe, rest beautifully and feels great to hold.
