    Not bad

C&Ds ribbon burley is sweeter like sweet corn, sir Walter is a little more earthy sweet this tobacco(Sutliff white)I’d say is a little less intense I also tried a dark burley I believe it was C&D I’d recommend either of the latter for people blending that don’t want a strong burley presence. Personally I like the stronger flavor so I took off a star.

    Not so bad

This review is a bit of a retraction from my earlier review, In hindsight, I may have been overly critical. I have officially had worse tobacco since that review. The "worse" tobacco was in the form of a 6oz bag of "Pipe Tobacco" from a liquor store (I'll leave the brand name out). I came back to the AAA White Burley, let it sun dry, blended it, and it was "Smokable". Still not my top recommendation, but still better than the truly unsmokeable sacks of hay that you might find in a local "cigarette shop".

    Unsmokable

Posted by heinz on 16th Jun 2021

I have gone through ounces and ounces of tobacco from this website. Some were instantly perfect out of the bag, some needed to be aired out a bit, some needed blending to be tolerable, and some that eventually got smoked out of desperation. This White Burley, however, in my opinion, is unsmokable. Even after letting it dry out, the pipe is immediately saturated by bitter, acrid, peppery juice. It travels up the stem (even on a Churchwarden) and reaches the tongue as the least favorable sensation and taste. I love this site, and so far this is the only tobacco I've felt this strongly about. Try it for yourself (it's not expensive) and leave your own feedback. I would be curious to see other reviews. Thanks.
