Solid Value!
I'm not a professional pipe smoker, but this pipe appears to be very well made. The fit is good, the drilling look good, and the sandblast was very nice. It isn't too heavy, and the bowl size is perfect for me when I have time to sit around. The only negative thing I can say about it is that it doesn't actually sit as it should. The angle of the bottom cut isn't sharp enough to offset the weight of the stem, even if it is loaded with tobacco. That is frustrating for a poker, but that is the manufacturer's fault. I have a Rattray's Ahoy that has the same problem, and it is made by the same parent company as Barling, so it must be a design mistake. Regardless, this pipe seems to be a fine smoker, and will likely become better as it is broken in further. Fast shipping from the fine folks here!
