For fans of the original Three Nuns, first blended over a century ago, the Mac Baren iteration will invoke memories of the original, but is its own exceptional smoking experience entirely. For those of us who are HUGE C.S. Lewis fans, but were not alive for the original, this blend is a chance to smoke something exceptional while wondering what Oxford would have been like in the glory days. Whichever side you fall on, this is a slightly spicy and smoky experience not to be missed.

I give the 4-star rating because I like it best mixed with some lane 1Q, it's smooth and flavorful, but I like adding a little aromatic to improve the room note.
Smoked this back in the day when I had time to enjoy a pipe. Now retired and have the time to enjoy. A smooth smoke, comparable to Capstan Navy cut. Not yet sure which I prefer. Either way enjoyable as long as you're not a hurry. Way better then cigarettes.
Love this tobacco! Top ten favorite easily!
I know it’s called Three Nuns but I rank it 5 lol. Anyway, this is an incredibly good blend in my inexperienced opinion, only been smoking pipe tobacco for about a year. It is very smooth, creamy smoke with a hint of spiciness, almost like a spice cake. Not too strong and not too weak. I found it tastes even better smoking very slowly.
Wonderful. Lots of flavor with just a touch of spice.
I love the prompt shipping and competitive pricing. I didn't know what to expect from the tobacco, so was pleasantly surprised.
I love this one and will keep it in my regular rotation. Smooth and a little stronger flavor compared to some other blends I have tried, a little nutty. Excellent.
Extremely smooth smoking but I like a little flavor. I mix this half and half with Mac Barrens Vanilla Cream. Perfect!
