So I got this and for me, it was an ok smoke mild latte with more vanilla. My wife grabbed my new corncob pipe and loaded it up with this and started puffing away on it and man did it smell wonderful. I give it 4 stars because my wife loves it and she will want more. but I did lose a pipe in the deal :)
Smooth / nice smell / from 1 to 10 I give it a 9.
Terrible aroma out of the can. Very wet. Had to dry for an hour before smoking. The tin is only 1.5 oz.
The earthy, nutty, woody burley is the varietal that stands out the most. The citrusy, grassy Virginia is a secondary player. The steamed, toasted black cavendish adds a sugary smoothness to the mix. The dark roasted espresso topping edges out the creamy vanilla essence, and both moderately sublimate the tobaccos. The strength is just past the center of mild to medium, while the taste is a lot stronger. The nic-hit is in the center of mild to medium. There’s no chance of bite or harshness. Has no rough edges. Burns cool and clean at a reasonable rate with a very consistent, smooth creamy sweet flavor that translates to the lightly lingering, pleasant after taste, and room note. Leaves little moisture in the bowl, and requires an average number of relights. An all-day easy going smoke. Three stars out of four
