I was recommended this for beginners because it's mild. I started pipe smoking recently and started with this tobacco. It is pleasant and easy to smoke.
I could Smoke this every day and not complain pleasant good aroma, burn, taste what more can I say.
Really liked this blend, great taste, room note, no bite. Would purchase again.
First off I'm new to pipe tobaccos. Just rediscovered my pipe after laying it down for 15 yrs. So I'm truly in the exploration stage of the pipe tobacco journey. This is a wet tobacco. Pull it out and let this stuff dry out on a towel for a few hours minimum. It's an easy smoke. Light on the vitamin N. The tin note is amazing but I can't say I really taste a very strong apricot note from the smoke itself. Put it this way if your not impressed with the smoke you can always use the tin as a car deodorizer. Found myself sniffing this tin like a blood hound!
I was satisfied with the nose notes given off when opening the tin, but was nonetheless dissatisfied with the smoke. The odor was pleasant enough in the room. But the smoke inhaled had none of the flavor, e.g., peaches and cream.
Let me down man.
While aromatics usually don't bowl me over as I look for strong flavors and usually don't find it this blend does offer some real sweetness to it. That sweetness doesn't last forever but it is there for most of the smoke. It burns cool and the smoke is mellow. If you like me are always looking for that full flavor smoke this is one of the most flavorful I have found albeit not as strong as I would like. Enjoy!
