Great tobacco my favorite in spite of being dry as hell that may be where they send it to dry. Well worth giving a try.
Great tobacco a bit harsh. Not a mourning smoke. But great for afternoon or evening
On my first bowl of the blend, I had a whoah nelly reaction as the nic really packs a punch. It can turn you a little green if you're not ready for it. I wasn't sure if I'd like it as the Burley is not as pronounced as say B&B or OJK imho. But it grew upon me and I found myself ordering more by the time I finished the tin. A very satisfying smoke.
One of my best all day of my rotation...
I am not someone who is able to pick out specific tobaccos in a blend; however, I find this blend to be quite enjoyable. I smoke a pipe about two or three times a week, but I can see how someone would find this blend to be easy every day, all day smoke. This is the blend that I consider my everyday smoke. If you like Burley I believe you will like this tobacco.
I am still smoking this tobacco, I am not sure if I like it or not, the nic hit is the for sure the perique is there but there is a strong ash flavor to it. yet I do keep coming back to it. I can't figure out if I love it or hate it. I am smoking a bowl of it right now as I type this review. This tobacco is hard to figure out, I will keep smoking it until I do. Give it a try you may love it looking around the internet a lot of people seem to.
The name, the blend description, the reviews left by others, I was expecting something outstanding... I was a bit disappointed with the actual experience of smoking this. Was it bad, definitely not! It was a nice blend that I will happily finish the tin, but probably not order again or wait a couple of years and give it another shot as my palate changes with experience. I didn't get the pepper notes, but nice flavor and easy to light/smoke with a bit of tongue bite at times (I am still learning to slow down).
The Emperor has no clothes. At least for me. Too strong. Taste no burley, only Virginia and Perique. Not going to throw it out but not going to order again either.
mixed with other stuff even better
