I more fully dried this tobacco. It made a world of difference - all for the better. Richly sweet. No tin tastes. Smokes beautifully. I just moved it to my top shelf.
When I first opened the tin, the tobacco was too moist. Wet even. The tobacco flavors are mild, but I get a distinct tin test that will keep this from being a regular smoke for me.
I opened the tin and took a whiff. The smell was amazing. I immediately packed a bowl overwhelmed with excitement. But the taste was not nearly as good as the smell. I finished the tin and unfortunately, it did not grow on me. If you're looking for a great vanilla aromatic I would recommend sweet honey vanilla by dan tobacco. It is a much better smoke.
This has some similarities to Dan's Sweet Vanilla Honeydew. It has a really nice Virginia base, and you can tell quality components are used. The top note sort of reminds me of the way cotton candy smells, and it is certainly an indulgent sugary treat. Can get a little nippy if you smoke it like a freight train, but otherwise a nice dessert smoke.
As a new pipe smoker, I wanted something that did not have an overpowering tobacco smell or taste. Blue Note has a pleasant aroma in the tin, a good room note, and a mild tobacco flavor.
A great tobacco would recommend every one tried it
This is a great aromatic. The bourbon and vanilla flavorings are not overpowering as in some aromatics, and it helps to spread out the black cavendish. Maybe not the most descriptive phrase, but it is what occurs to me. It's not goopy and burns well with no bite. Smoking one tin had me order four immediately.
I read a review on this when I was more into aroma and it was rated #1aroma tobacco , I think in 2016. I am more into taste know (I swing back and forth) but Blue Note is just all out good tobacco.
This is my first to Tobacco I bought. Love the taste!
