In my opinion, this is one of the best vanilla cigars I have smoked. Upon taking the cigar out of the cellophane and giving it a sniff, you get a nice, finely aged connecticut shade tobacco and vanilla aroma that seems to swirl together perfectly. Upon cutting the cap and taking a dry puff you get an almost licorice type of flavor with what seems like some type of baking spice, and vanilla extract on the backdrop. (Reminds me of chocolate chip cookies). While lighting the cigar, the aroma from the smoke smells exactly like the baking spice flavor, and vanilla extract swirling together nicely. Upon taking the first puff, you get a nice finely aged connecticut shade tobacco which has some creamy, peppery notes to it and on the retro-hale you get pure baking spice, and vanilla extract which doesn’t seem to fade at all throughout the first third. Towards the second third however, the vanilla and baking spice seems to fade into the backdrop and the tobacco’y flavor really starts to come through which has some peppery notes, and creamy cedar notes. The vanilla and baking spice flavor is still present but just retreats into the backdrop. Upon reaching the final third, the vanilla and baking spice flavor really starts to ramp up even stronger than in the first third and the tobacco flavor retreats into the backdrop. And as you progress through the final third, the vanilla and baking spice flavor seems to continue to ramp up with every puff until it literally tastes like vanilla cake with vanilla frosting. The flavor of this cigar had me continuing to puff on it until I reached the cap and could no longer hold onto it. It’s really that good in my opinion. If you like the flavor of vanilla with a nice finely aged Connecticut shade tobacco, then this cigar is for you.
