Burnt Steak
I guess it depends if you like that kind of thing. I love some latakia blends but not this one. Foe me, it was like a steak you forgot on the grill for some hours past done. Its all I can taste. And its not a flavor I enjoy. Needs to dry for a few before smoking.

SO good!
Currently my favorite tobacco. Smoking it more than anything else lately. I feel like it has changed my expectation of what good tobacco is. It's so full-flavored with a bit of everything. I don't claim to be an expert by any means, but I can definitely pick out the sweetness of the cavendish, the full body of the kentucky, of course the smokiness of the latakia and a wonderful sourness (which I think is probably the perique). Just an amazingly satisfying smoke.

Black House
This truly is one of the greats in the English blend world. It smokes cool, slow, and cellars incredibly well. It is what I call a kitchen sink blend because it has about everything in it (Kentucky, perique, VA, latakia, and black cavendish, but without a big Nicotine hit, and actually quite smooth. Smokes better a bit on the dry side, and to my palate, very very close to Balkan Sobranie as I've ever had, except in cut.

Blackhouse
It was decent but I was not overly impressed.

Hearth & Home "Black House"
This blend is made of incredible depth, complexity, and intensity, but without vulgar spicy... To smoke in a privileged moment. In my top five forever.

Worthy
This is a sterling contender for the affections of the English blend lover. Plenty of tasty Latakia, but with a classy supporting cast, and very little bite. It's going to be one of my regulars. If you're in the quest for replacements for the beloved Dunhill Englishes you'll want to try this one right away.

H&H Blackhouse
I found this to be a good tobacco although I think a little too spicy for me. It packed well and lit and burned well however my H&H choice is still Magnum Opus. I would buy again but not unless they were out of MO.
