I have just recently taken up pipe smoking. Had not done so since the 1970’s. After trying multiple tobaccos, I think this is the best.
My taste has quickly moved away from most aromatics but sometimes I still want something sweet. Unlike most smokers I enjoy having a couple of pipes that have aromatic ghosting. The flavor on this is decent though not super strong. Easy to smoke. It's not as good or cherry-laden as Blood Red Moon in my opinion, but price-wise it's good enough for when the cherry aromatic mood strikes.
If you're looking for a good cherry tobacco, you should definitely try this. I remember from many many years ago getting ahold of a pouch of Cpt. Black cherry and it burned, burned, burned. This is not that. Smells and tastes better than Cult's Blood Red Moon, and I like that tobacco.
I've been smoking this exclusively since the discontinuation of Dark Red. The flavor is inconsistent, but a fair replacement for Dark Red with a different cherry flavor, but Lane smooth. My all day smoke.
Smokes ok, was hoping it’d have a lot more cherry taste & aroma than it does.
One of the most flavorful tobacco blends I've had that have very little bite. Try it with a good bourbon.
There may be something better but It's the best I've ever tasted. And the aroma is delicious.
Is good, room note is very pleasant, I gave it a 4 star rating due to the tongue bite, which is not bad but still there. Other than that it’s a good tasting tobacco.
Slight fruit taste to this blend, not overwhelming but nice.
