Mastro De Paja pays tribute to their national history with the Pompei series of tobacco pipes.

Pompei is a town in the south of Italy, close to Naples. It houses the ruins of the ancient city of Pompeii, which was famously destroyed during the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D. Among the buried and destroyed remains lie over one thousand bodies, citizens who could not escape the disaster.

Pompeii is an amazing site, with the ash preserving almost everything. Historians and archaeologists have learned so much about life in Ancient Rome thanks to that eruption. Without the remains of Pompeii to guide researchers, we might not know as much about the life of everyday Ancient Roman citizens.

We offer you fifteen different variations of the Pompei smoking pipes. There are five shapes with three finishes each, so you will be able to find something you like. The first is a smooth finish, colored with a brownish-orange stain. This helps you appreciate the briar's grain, seeing the intricate details of the wood used to make our smoking pipe. Next is the sandblasted finish. The benefit of sandblasting a tobacco pipe is how you will get a different texture than a smooth pipe while giving it a windswept look. Finally is the rusticated appearance, with pits and valleys on the outside of the pipe, making it look incredible while also providing a feel in your hand that is comfortable and outstanding.

On each pipe, you get an acrylic stem, colorfully designed with swirls of white and brown that give off a mocha color. On the stem, there is an implanted metal disk, the sun logo of Mastro De Paja.

Thanks to all the variations of the Pompei series, these will be perfect for collectors and will look amazing in your pipe rotation or resting on your tobacco pipe stand.
