Not a fan of the PLIP
So far, I really like this pipe... I like the dry system a lot! The wood grain is absolutely gorgeous! Size wise, I think it's perfect... It clenches well, is balanced well and it smokes well too. This is my first p-lip bit pipe and honestly, it will be my last... I really don't like the p-lip bit stem, at all. Maybe it's a "get used to it" thing and I'm not used to it, but I really don't like it at all. It redirects the smoke to the roof of the mouth VS. over the tongue and I find I have to place the stem further in my mouth just to get a good draw, which I don't like doing either. Normal fishtail stems it's easy to redirect the smoke flow while drawing. Not this. The p-lip stem bit is also a pain to clean as it bends the pipe cleaners. Overall, this pipe is a little more labor intensive to clean because of the separate chamber that collects moisture for the dry system AND the p-lip stem bit. It isn't a big deal however, 1 extra swab in the chamber to wipe it out... Those are my only complaints, otherwise, I'm liking this pipe.

Love this pipe! Had a rustic version first and recently added this smooth one. The 307 size combined with the PLIP make for a great clenching pipe with good burn time.

I have smoked Peterson to sava.... whatever...even meerschaum-this is the best smoking pipe you can buy! The directional smoke adds to the smoke rely adds this smoke .

Great
As good as my Dagnar corncob (although 4-5 times more expensive) But you get what you pay for, fine quality, and good heft. Smokes like a dream, no filter, cool and even. Excellent pipe.

Another great purchase
This is my second 307 review and the pipe smokes and looks as good as the first. What I’ll expand on this time around is Smokingpipes.com. I ordered this pipe on Wednesday and was smoking it on Saturday, from Florida to Texas. Outstanding service!

Best I’ve tried
This is my favorite pipe. I am a fan of the Peterson System P-lip series. I’ve had a few of the Italian pipes that cost half as much that I bought from local tobacconist and they all found their way to the trash, none smoked like this pipe. The pipes pipe smokes cool and dry, and cleans easily enough. I purchased it from this website a couple of years ago and was pleased with the transaction and delivery.

The System is Sweet!
A handsome pipe , the system is nice for sure . Never a moisture issue with it so far been smoking it for about a month. The P lip is also a pleasure, takes awhile to get aquainted with it. Cleaning is not a big issue , did not find it be troublesome ,either the moisture port, or the Plip. A pleasurable pipe ,that will stay in my rotation for sure.
