Something has changed
This used to be one of my go to brands, but what came in this most recent tin was not the same tobacco. Its got an almost sugary sweet undertone and very little latakia. This was never a latakia heavy blend, but I always knew it was there. It also has never been particularly sweet, save for a hint of natural Virginia tobacco sweetness. I'm going to seal it up and see if it doesn't get better with a bit more age but if it doesn't improve, I'm probably done with this brand.

Excellent Tobacco
I've been smoking pipes since way back in the old days of the late 1960s. I've always smoked typical OTC tobacco with the exception of E.A. Carey dark. I decided to try Presbyterian on a whim and bought a tin. I'm very glad I did. this is some of the best tasting tobacco I've eve smoked. Aroma is very pleasing in the room also. I'm going to be smoking more of this. As soon as I opened the tin I noticed its fine aroma. I find the taste very pleasing as it is probably medium for those who know more about tobacco that I know. It leaves no after taste in my mouth and the flavor is kind of hickory smoke tasting if a tobacco can have such a taste.

Good stuff
This is a solid, basic, and rather mellow English blend. There's nothing particularly special about it. Its just good tobacco. I suspect that this will be one of my go-to's.

presbyterian
An excellent oriental forward blend, very nice smoke.

Presbyterian? Why not?
I purchased this on a whim because of the unusual name. I don't imagine we will see a successive roll-out of similarly themed mixes, although I could see the logic in Anglican and Dutch Reformed blends. But, this was a surprisingly light, cool smoking yet flavorful mix. I usually purchase in bulk, and if this were packaged bulk, it would be on my shopping list.

Wife Pleaser
A mild blend, very light on the Latakia. The Orientals don't smack your face, but rather compliment the blend instead of taking the lead. My wife loves the smell of this stuff.

Presbyterian pipe tobacco
I opened my tin the day I received it and smoked it. Normally I let my tobacco age 3-6 months to see what I have. It is one of your mild and balanced tobaccos. Will be in my rotation.

Good mild English
For my first English tobacco. This was a very good choice. Very flavorful tobacco blend, very smooth throughout bowl.

One of my favorites
Such a unique blend. One of my favorites, and I've tried most of them. Latakia is pretty light and the Oriental blends seamlessly with the Virginia. A masterpiece.
