All Savinelli Tortuga pipes come with an acrylic and rubber ash cap. The purpose of an ash cap is to preserve a partially smoked bowl of tobacco for later. We love this attachment because it seems we often find ourselves in a situation where there is just not time to smoke an entire bowl. Seen here in the 305 model bent pot shape, this pipe has been sanded smooth and given a brown, almost red colored stain.
