Sutliff 504C Aromatic English Pipe Tobacco

When something from Sufliff which I think I CAN and WILL smoke (based on a usually scant number of reviews) is on sale for 30% off, I purchase 5# and hope for the best. I've not been terribly disappointed, and have been occasionally delighted. This mixture is nice tobacco, a bit damp, but should dry. Nothing great, and the name "Aromatic English" is a bit oxymornic. However, I'm quite happy on balance, given the huge discount. Would I purchase again? Probably not.

I actually dont like this a lot but Im still giving 4 stars because it burns good and most of the tastes and aromas are good, I'm just not a big fan of latakia. Other than that, this is a really good pipe blend.

Imagine your classic English blend with a little sweetness. All the Latakia and other components with a dash of black cavendish to knock off the edges. That’s what this is. Very easy to smoke.

I like this tobacco quite a bit. A very pleasant smoke. My favorite so far. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I am quite new to pipe smoking and so I will reserve the highest rating for when I am more experienced. Service and shipping are great as usual.

A Cavendish base mildly flavored with a touch of latakia. A very good mild crossover blend. Not heavy in any direction. Easy going and no bite with a decent aroma and excellent easy no brainer burn. I think for what this blend is after, it's done perfectly.

Not for me. Dry smoke, not really aromatic, taste more burley.

I don't smoke aromatic that much but when I'm in the mood for some I really enjoy this stuff. It is nothing like most aromatics where they are just over saturated with toppings. This has a light topping and gives just enough taste for you to enjoy. Give it try.
