Mellow sweet with subtle latakia...very nice.

I have tried several English blends and this is the only one I like. I order some every time. It is also good for mixing with other blends that seem too sticky, it ads a nice kick.

This is a really interesting tobacco. It's a very unique flavor. It reminds me of cedar incense, and if you give it really light sips, there's a tanginess that tastes like lime to me. Sounds like an odd combination, but it's good. I think it's appropriately named--it smells like something that would be smoked on the bayou, or in a voodoo museum in New Orleans. If you want something different, try it. It also raised my view of Sutliff tobaccos. I have a few pounds of Sutliff aromatics, and I like them, but this one is like a high quality flake. I like it, I'm glad I have it.

I have a little bit of everything in my rotation. I usually have about 10-15 blends that I choose from and this hit a flavor that my rotation was missing. No issues with it, very pleasant, smooth, burned nice. It will be one I continue to enjoy.

This is a remarkable tobacco. I bought five pounds of this tobacco, and I have smoked 3.5 lbs. of it. It is the only pipe tobacco that I can enjoy all day and night. Yes, I smoke a bowl of cigar leaf or Dark Burley once in a while. This tobacco smokes cool, full of flavor, and no tongue bite. The ash is a light gray in color. As for the aroma, so far, no one has complained. This is not an aromatic tobacco, but it is not an offensive, or a heavy tobacco. I'm so pleased with it that I will buy another five pounds in the near future.

I have to say, I enjoy this one quite a bit while I'm in the process of smoking it. The smoke is good, and the taste reminds me of bbq and sweet tea. Where it loses me is after I set my pipe down. It leaves an unpleasant sour ashy taste in my mouth that lasts several hours, even after brushing my teeth. I haven't had this issue with other tobaccos, so it's not just your normal pipe breath. For me, it makes me not reach for it when I have any other options to hand. I won't be getting this one again.
