Delicious!
I had to give this tobacco a review, mainly just to "balance" out the only other review on this particular blend. While I agree with the other reviewer that to call it English blend is misleading, as it certainly is unlike any other blend out there (it is a "Danish" English blend after all) I, however, do detect a touch of Latakia, and while the topping is fairly noticeable and distinct, it is not overwhelmingly sweet. Certainly not to the point of calling this an aromatic. A superb blend with high-quality leaf for sure. I would rate it 4.5 out of 5 because of a slight tendency to bite if not careful, but I'm rounding up to bring that score up from an undeserved 1 star :)

This is an aromatic
Bought this after reading the description saying that it was an English blend. What a disappointment! The back of the tin says that it has Syrian Latakia, but you wouldn't be able to tell what leaf varietals this has - any tobacco flavors are masked by a very strong aromatic topping. If they indeed used Syrian Latakia in it - what a waste of good leaf!
