What is Morta?

To keep it simple Morta is partially petrified oak that comes from trees that have fallen into wetlands. While the oak sits in the water for thousands of years it is protected by the acidity and anaerobic conditions of the wetlands allowing tannins to be leached out and start the fossilization process. Note: Also referred to as Bog Oak.

What are some advantages of smoking a Morta pipe?
