I must not be smoking this right...
I love all the MacBaren's but I cannot get a vanilla smell or snork out of this. The smoke isn't hot or wet but it still burns my sinuses when I try to snork it. It was a tad bit better with meerschaum shavings added to the bottom of the bowl and a filter but it's still not a good smoker. I'll try to figure it out...

First bowl I started off alone and the first 1/4 of the bowl, I wasn't impressed. I waited till the wife came out before writing this. It was half bowl and she likes the smell a lot. The flavor also changed to a creamy vanilla. Once this happened I put it on my list to buy again. If you want a vanilla bomb, it won't do, buy Sutliff Z92 Vanilla Custard Cream (excellent). Recap, definitely get vanilla deeper into bowl and excellent room note, definitely worth trying.

Not getting any vanilla flavor from this. It's not a bad smoke, just not vanilla. Will try a different pipe.

Mac Barren Vanilla Cream loose cut
By bulk or the tin, one of my favorites. This is my every day at work smoke. Very flavorful, with no bite and burns well. I recommend highly as a daily smoke.

Has some very slight vanilla notes it’s kinda like Elizabethan Dunhill with some more vanilla.
