Tobacco
Solid smoke. There's a reason why it's a classic.

Some classics are that way for a reason
"Prince Albert" combines the taste of Burley, enhanced with chocolate and vanilla, with some of the sweet-sour of Orientals and lush sweetness of Virginias or Cavendishes. At this point, most of the flavor is in the topping, but it rests on top of a big pile of bulk Burley that makes for an easy smoke. You dip the pipe, press down to make the mass flat, then light it and smoke it. This is the best blend for beginners, and an enjoyable all-day smoke with medium nicotine level so that just about any pipe smoker can enjoy it. I cut it with C&D's "Dark Burley" to kick up the Vitamin N a notch and mellow out the topping. It's always good to see the Prince in my cabinet.

Prince will never be overthrown
Hope this tobacco never goes away. Love it!

Best everyday smoke in my opinion
This is by far my go to tobacco. I try to keep plenty on hand so I don’t fun out. To me it has a nutty wood like flavor that I can find with no other blends. I know there are cheaper tobacco that some like better than PA but I know where the best can be found.

Heck yes
This is my all day smoke. I realize there are more appealing tobaccos out there, but the consistency and coolness of this tobacco are to me unmatched. I have the other stuff but Prince Albert is the one I find in my bowl more than any other.

Prince Albert Regular
I tried every tobacco to find me every day all day tobacco and it came down to a good old tried and true tobacco that I grew up watching my Grandpa smoke PA. No bite burns evenly. I like it just a bit dryer than the way it comes.

Consistency
My favorite standby burley.

Prince Albert RULES
For me, nothing relaxes and comforts me more than sitting back to enjoy a good, enjoyable bowl of pipe tobacco. I am, for the most part, a burley smoker. I love burley. I've tried ALL the codger blends and other more expensive burley blends. While to me, most of them taste pretty good, they turn my pipe into a smoldering furnace. When I would let the pipe cool and go to re-light, it's as if the tobacco char has been welded together. I don't know if that's due to the toppings, PG, or what, but it gets old. I never experience that with Prince Albert. I load my bowl lightly (like all the other blends) and tamp the top gently and light up. Prince Albert takes the flame well, continues to burn slowly and tastes of true burley, it's perfect for me. During the smoke, I'll gently tap some ash out, gently tamp and re-light. This pipe tobacco is what I've been searching for in top-notch burley and it is "jar worthy". I love it. Give the Prince a try, you'll wonder why you hadn't before. Happy puffing.
