I’m testing the “waters” so to speak, coming from harsh English blends to something milder & this so far is my favorite.
Bought this stuff and had to dry it for a week or more to be able to even smoke it. After drying it was so bad it would gag you. Nice to know I pay by the weight and get a product that is sopping wet and weighs a 3rd of what it was once it dries out.
I bought this as a stand alone blend but I found a better use. There are some pipe unblended tins that were high in Nicotine that I needed to mellow out. They had the kick (Dark fired Kentucky), but need some flavor and had to be toned down. I used this to give me a better smoke and still have the kick that I wanted without the over load rush. It worked very well and saved the day by adding taste and aroma that was lacking. Good choice. Thanks.
This is my favorite tobacco. Mild and aromatic. It never disappoints!
Sutliff Spiced Rum
Excellent blend. A relaxing blend for anytime. A keeper.
Been really good. I have also blended it 2oz of both with Prince Albert. This is really good by itself and mixed
Cool smoking rum flavor, what's not to like. This has been my daily smoke for the past week. I have enjoyed it and will get more soon.
Smoked my first in a cob pipe and between the 2 was probably the best smoke of my life. There wasn't any bite it didn't burn to hot. the aroma was very relaxing and calming. This has nearly everything I am looking for from my pipe tobacco.

This tobacco has a great pouch note and packs easily into your pipe. It is a little moist, but I like it that way, but you may want to give it a short dry time. The rum note is the predominant scent and taste. There is no bite and the blend smokes clean and needs the average number of relights. The room note is pleasant and lingers for a while. It makes a very good all day smoke.
