Solani came to life in 1997. These blends, dreamed up by Rudiger L. Will, are the culmination of a lifetime of learning about the aromas and tastes of different leaves. This is the second line dreamed up by Will, and these tobaccos are a successful follow-up to the Reiner Tobacco line he created in 1990.
R. L. Will's experience comes from a long time spent traveling the world, listening to and learning from tobacco growers and manufacturers, each person imparting valuable knowledge that Will was able to adapt into his own style of tobacco production. Eventually, Will went from apprentice to journeyman, before finally becoming the Master Tobacco Blender that we know today. It is his growth and learning that we see whenever we open up a tin of Solani pipe tobacco.
Will's knowledge is evident in each of these blends. There is more than thirty years of experience in tobacco cultivation and mixing that goes into the R. L. Will tobacco blends, and you will be sure to appreciate each blend you are willing to try.

Perhaps you will like blend number 113: Sweet Mystery, a combination of Black Cavendish and Virginia tobaccos that comes with a cocoa/chocolate, rum, and Blackcurrant flavoring.
Maybe instead, you will enjoy blend number 633: the Yellow Label. This is a Virginia and Perique combination that has the classic pop a VaPer tobacco provides. Try this one if you want to get a pleasant introduction to the VaPer style of pipe tobacco.
