1st pipe use and finish melted off
I just got the pipe few days ago, decided to try and smoke it today. First light was alright, however the tobacco didn’t burn easily or evenly across the bowl. Second light was when the problem began. When I got to the bottom of the bowl, the pipe began to give off a strange aroma and then I noticed the finish at the bottom of the pipe began to bubble up and then melt right off the damn thing. Not even an hour of smoke time yet and it’s ruined. It’s like a $50 pipe so it’s not considered a cheap one. But I’d expect more from a pipe that’s out of the bottom bin price range. Wouldn’t buy this one again for sure and don’t recommend it to anyone either.

Finish Bubbles on First Bowl
I would give this little pipe four stars if not for the poor finish on the example I received. I was surprised by how light this pipe is and for the first (and only) bowl I smoked out of it was a cool and dry smoke, and I hardly noticed it in my mouth. However, after doing my char light and getting my tobacco going I noticed that the finish all around the exterior of the bowl had bubbled quite badly. I hope this is just a bad example of this small pocket pipe. I will be returning.
